Wednesday, September 3, 2008 – I’ll be speaking during the noon hour at the Google campus in Mountain View, California. It’s not a public event, but a video will be posted to youtube.com and Book TV will be taping my talk (more details about that when I get them). That evening, I’ll be at Books Inc. in Palo Alto at 7 p.m.
Thursday, September 4, 2008 – Catch me at Book Passage in Corte Madera at 1 p.m. or at Diesel in Oakland at 7 p.m.
Portland
Monday, September 8, 2008 – My hometown debut! I’ll be reading at Powell’s downtown store at 7:30 p.m.
Saturday, October 11, 2008 – Come hear my talk and have me sign a book at the Healthy Living Fair, sponsored by Rachel’s Friends, a non-profit group dedicated to discovering the causes of cancer. I'll be on at 1:30 p.m., and the event runs from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at First United Methodist Church, 1838 SW Jefferson St. Parking is free and the church is on the MAX line.
Saturday and Sunday, November 8 and 9, 2008 – It’s Wordstock at the Oregon Convention Center. Check back for the time I’ll be reading.
Seattle
Wednesday, September 10, 2008 – I’ll be speaking and reading as part of the Future of Health series at Seattle's Town Hall. Address: 1119 8th Avenue . Enter on Seneca Street. Time: 7:15 p.m. Tickets are $5 and are available at www.brownpapertickets.com, 800/838-3006 and at the door beginning at 6:30. Town Hall members receive priority seating.
